VocalCenter.Berlin invites 14 singers to join „From A Distance“

Florian Unruh, founder of Vocal Center Berlin works as a vocal coach in Berlin. In 2020 he wrote this corona song, which captures the year with all its existential crises, the lockdown isolation and hope for a better future. Amongst the 14 singers are Florian himself, Mickela Löffel (The Voice of Germany 2020), Joshua Stewart (Just a closer walk with thee), Jordan Jackson (Sofar London), Konstantin Zander (Zünni und Zanni), Leslie Jost (The Voice 2011), Yahya Salman (Sucker Metal Cover) etc.

In 2020 singing together became almost impossible. So Florian wrote his sorrow off his chest and asked all singers to send him their individual tracks to create this soulful piano ballad with its dense harmonies. The message: "You are not alone“ and „Love works from a distance"

VocalCenter.Berlin bringt 14 Sänger zusammen für "From A Distance"

Unter den 14 Sängern sind unter anderem Florian selbst, Mickela Löffel (Halbfinale der Comeback Stage 2020 The Voice of Germany), Joshua Stewart (Just a closer walk with thee), Jordan Jackson (Sofar London), Konstantin Zander (Zünni und Zanni), Leslie Jost (The Voice 2011), Yahya Salman (Sucker Metal Cover) etc.

about: VocalCenter.Berlin

When a hit single is produced, managers and promotors put the song on the market starting a buzz causing clicks, streams and downloads to go up.

Ideally, it is not just a single; it takes off, exciting fans for an upcoming tour where they expect record quality vocals or better: Exceeding all expectations!

This can put a lot of pressure on the artist - especially on a newcomer who has little to no experience in performing at full capacity day in and day out for long periods of time.

Stress, traveling, giving interviews and singing for hours without the necessary vocal tools can quickly cause exhaustion and damage. Forcing a voice that is not ready or already in bad condition will worsen the situation in the long run, shaving years off of the career. When a vocal disorder is developed and the artist is no longer able to deliver acceptable results, the career is in danger and so are sales.

To avoid vocal cord surgery, the loss of vocal quality in the studio or on stage, and major financial losses, agencies can take matters into their own hands before the tour and engage a vocal coach who specializes in pop vocalists.

TourTraining is tailored to the needs of signed artists. It includes singing techniques that will help overcome vocal challenges specific to touring, without changing or compromising the unique sound of the artist. In addition to the focused vocal training, helping to build stamina, the artist will be guided through necessary lifestyle adjustments and be given a customized warm up and cool down program.
After two months of intensive training, it is time to go on tour and apply the developed skills.

VocalCenter.Berlin provides the pop music industry with a professional approach to overall vocal health by offering individual prevention and quality enhancement techniques - for artists and agencies throughout Europe.

StudioTraining is also available to prepare the artist for upcoming recording projects, bringing out their full vocal potential.

about: VocalCenter.Berlin
